Nuestras Raíces Farms is a unique and beautiful venue for church retreats and outdoor events, with a healthy family environment. Have your next concert, theater, cultural festival, wedding, corporate function, church picnic, or other celebration in a distinctive natural setting!

Site Description:

Nuestras Raíces Farms is a 30 acre site in Holyoke, MA: home to the farmer training program of the non-profit organization Nuestras Raíces. Surrounded by beautiful farms of flowers, vegetables, and livestock, overlooking the Connecticut River, and defined by a grove of silver maple trees, the Event Area features a gorgeous two-story stage built right into the maple trees and constructed of sturdy natural woods.

The site features fun, safe, and healthy activities for the entire family - nature trails along the river and farms, guided horseback rides, pony rides for children, a Caribbean-themed petting zoo, a store with farm products and arts & crafts, and a traditional Puerto Rican style lechonera barebeque catering. Canoe and kayak lessons and tours can be arranged.

Specifics:

The main Events Area is approximately 7,500 square feet with additional areas for food service, walking, and activities appropriate for events of 25-1000 people. The stage is 16' by 20' and features two balconies and a backstage area. There is a combination of on-site and street parking for buses and over 100 cars. There are full electrical services and portapotties. Nuestras Raíces Farms is within 1/2 mile of the intersection of highways 90 and 91 and it is highly accessible from the entire regaion of western Massachusetts and northern Connecticut.

Nuestras Raíces can provide on-site Event Planning, Catering (especially pig roasts and farm-fresh Puerto Rican cooking), Horse and/or Pony rides, group discounts for Petting Zoo, food, Canoe and Kayak rides/lessons, DJ services, and fresh farm-grown Flowers.
